1. What We Collect
- Account info: name, email, Clerk user ID.
- Payment info: processed by Stripe; we store payment status and Stripe session IDs only.
- Course activity: lesson progress, quiz results, final exam completion.
- Device data: basic analytics to improve the product (non-identifying).
2. How We Use It
- Provide course access after successful payment.
- Sync and restore your course progress across devices.
- Send important product or billing notifications.
- Improve curriculum quality and platform stability.
3. How We Share It
We don't sell your data. We share limited data with service providers that help us operate:
- Stripe for secure payments (card data never touches our servers).
- Clerk for authentication and account management.
- Supabase for storing course progress and payment records.
4. Data Retention & Control
- We retain course progress and payment records while your account is active.
- You can request data deletion or export by emailing support@teachpilates.org.
- Local progress cache (in your browser) can be cleared from your device settings.
5. Security
- Transport encryption (HTTPS) for all traffic.
- Role-restricted access to production data.
- Stripe handles all sensitive payment data; we store only non-sensitive payment metadata.
6. Your Rights
- Access, update, or delete your data by contacting support@teachpilates.org.
- Opt out of non-essential communications at any time.
